Until a controller is detected, the game will stutter heavily every few seconds. Another solution is to teach oneself to keep the mouse completely still while locked on -_- Preferably, there should be an option to disable target switching with mouse movements, or ideally to give the camera a limited amount of movement while locked on without switching target at all. Mouse movements can be locked using a third party program but this is clunky since it generally means an additional key needs to be integrated. Moving the mouse even slightly while locked on can switch the focused target if another is available. Some are rather alarming technical issues. They're doing an admirable job of patching the game, but there are a number of as-yet unresolved issues with the Mouse and Keyboard controls that will hopefully be addressed ASAP.

It's still pretty dumb that this port doesn't support the mouse, considering that it was probably in development at the same time as the PS4 version. I've made my way to the burning village by the sea in the first mission, this area dropped a shit ton during the PS4 alpha and beta (but less so). A lot of shadow and object pop in here and there. Would be a pain to have to switch back and forth all the time. because borderless doesn't resize correctly at 3840x2160 if your desktop resolution is not set to that resolution, lol. which crashed if your refresh rate was over 60hz in fullscreen. Total pants, especially with 8k coming in a few years.Īnd, just like Premium Ghoul confirmed earlier in the thread, the game supports 60hz+ in fullscreen (and in BW), which already makes this port better than the first Dark Souls. The game doesn't poll the desktop for resolutions, so running my current favorite resolution, 3072x1728, won't be happening.

Changing to Balanced power+Optimal GPU power doesn't change this. However, this game makes my gpu spicy hot, like, 83 C. The dojo tutorial was locked and so was the first real area of the game. The initial area isn't stable 60, but it only dips 5-10 fps below at a time. I have an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 (stock core/mem). I ran the game at 4k w/ High shadows and max everything else while forcing Vsync+TriBuf+max perf from the control panel. If the game supported the mouse (and if it has simultaneous controller & kb support, I dunno if it does) you could party with Scp monitor (360 controller emulator)+move nav. One thing that impressed the shit out of me - you can individually remap controller buttons!!! In addition to presets!! In game!! Bravo!! Take fucking notes Watch_Dogs/Crysis 2/other western pc port bullshit I've been playing recently. It's kind of hilarious how many PS4 controller profiles there are from the devs. Thankfully, the Ki charge sound effect is juicy enough that I don't really need it. Rumble isn't supported over USB or the Official dongle. The game doesn't recognize my PS4 controller (1st revision) on its own without checking it off in SBP. after actually loading the loading screen. The initial start up time spends an awfully long time on a black screen. Alrighty, had a chance to sit down with the port.
